GRAN PREMIO NOLAN OF Made in Italy AND EMILIA ROMAGNA

WHAT A PITY MISANO, BUT THE SHARK IS THERE!!! 🔥

This weekend was not particularly lucky, due to the double fall that prevented us from expressing all the speed and determination that Tony has shown since the first free practice at home.

First, the fall that prevented us from accessing #Q2, then the fall in the race while we were in 15th position. Too bad because Tony had all the cards in order to bring it home!

Starting from the ninth row of the "Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli", the Shark, who had quickly found his rhythm after some initial difficulties, managing to recover the beauty of 12 positions, was just 15th at the time of the fall, with a good chance to recover other important points.

The Shark, who finished fifth in this morning's fantastic warm-up performance, tried to brake as late as possible in the race, to shorten the gap to the leaders. Unfortunately, his confidence wasn't quite 100% and so his race ended with a violent crash at turn nine. The Rookie injured his right foot, but the X-rays he underwent afterwards, fortunately, revealed nothing broken. So it's clear for Portimao: more full than ever, trying to take home what we could not take today!

The next round is scheduled for November 5 to 7, at the Grand Prix of Potimao in Portugal, and the Shark is aiming to fight for the points for the penultimate time this season!

🎙Tony: "It was a tough race. In the first few laps, I was struggling with the bike. However, after a while, I felt much better and I was able to push more or less as I wanted, even in that difficult situation. However, in the braking areas, I was losing too much time, so I tried to break later, but I didn't feel one hundred percent confident. In the end, I lost the front end and crashed. I hurt my right foot, but now we go home, reset, recover and come back prepared for Portimao. We keep our minds because we are fast and we are motivated to do better."

Jürgen Lingg:

Team manager

🎙Jürgen Lingg:"We started the race weekend in a good mood, after Tony's very good performances here a few weeks ago and also in Austin. Tony was the fastest in FP3 and in the first qualifying he was again super fast, but unfortunately he also crashed in Q1. As a result, the starting position of the race was bad. Tony however in the race found a good pace relatively quickly after the bad start and made good progress. If he hadn't crashed, it would definitely have been enough for a very good result."
